I just finished the first session of FEEL BETTER videos, and I wasn't sure what to expect, and I LOVED IT! It was just what my body needed!
I am 57 years old and have been working out with Dawnelle for 1 ½ years. My prior exercise program included CrossFit and a seldom yoga class (since my body was always tight). My biggest fear from lifting much lighter weights in AgeDEFY is that I would lose my arm muscles. I am pleasantly surprised that my arms have more definition since doing AgeDEFY!
I love AgeDEFY STRONG! Dumbbells and kettlebells equal boredom and repetition ... Not anymore! Dawnelle uses the weights in new ways that exercise muscles I didn't even know I had, all to strengthen more core and improve joint support and overall muscle tone. At age 69, keeping the muscle I have is so important, but this program goes well beyond that! I am gaining new muscle and overall flexibility. I can't wait to start the next STRONG program!
Posture and FLOW
I had a physical last week where my height was measured as 1/2 inch taller than I've ever been! It is all from working on posture training and complementing movement therapy workouts with Dawnelle. My muscles are looser, leaner, and have more movement range to fight against gravity. This took six months. I can't wait to see what happens in another six months!
I wanted to tell you I just had a bone scan done. My doctor wants me to have a bone scan every two years because osteoporosis runs in my family, and my numbers have improved this year! I credit you. I credit these classes. Thank you. Feeling good, looking good, and everything is going well.

Oh my goodness! I hurt my back the other day, thinking lifting my bed to get a rug under it was a good idea. Anyway ... lots of pain! I did some MobilityFLOW helicopters afterward, and it helped. It's still sore and tender today, so I did your movement therapy class and feel AMAZING!
I love the online videos. I could tell already after just a week a difference. I'm feeling much stronger and more flexible.
I just have to say, I loved how cerebral that was.

I was thinking of you and AgeDEFY as I have my morning break in the cafeteria. Four men here work in maintenance, discussing their daily aches and pains. One says, "I know it's time to wake up in the morning because my arms/hands start tingling." His friend responds -- "This is 50 -- just going to get worse." And I immediately thought, this is the year of my 50th birthday, and I move young and feel amazing!
I just wanted to post a big Thank You. I had my first hip replacement(at age 52) on Oct. 31st, and the next one is probably next year. Your coaching on activating muscles is key to my recovery success and mobility. I navigated bleachers/steps/and people with grace this winter at my daughter’s percussion competition venues.

I've been practicing my down dog with your tips, and I finally get it! You're right: I needed to learn how to press up through my shoulders. Instead of feeling pressure and panic in my upper back, I feel the stretch. Thanks so much for your help!

Thank you for all the CROW step-by-step strengthening and practicing this month. When I started AgeDEFY, I did not know how to get into CROW safely and would never attempt it. At the beginning of January, I could hold CROW for 2-4 seconds from our previous learning classes. Today I held it for 15 seconds! Next week's goal is 15 seconds and no pillow/blocks—much gratitude for the breakdown, building my CROW confidence, and my AgeDEFY body.
Grateful for all your lymphatic videos. Recovering from a broken leg, and these are life savers. You rock!

I particularly love the AgeDEFY live classes at Studio BodyAbility.
I believe that I push myself harder – especially in the cycle classes. The live classes give Dawnelle a chance to see my form. Also, we can discuss the workout and challenges at the end of each class.
I also enjoy the On-Demand classes. This allows me to choose what type of class I am in the mood for and how much time that I have available. Her videos show how long the video workout is, so I appreciate that for planning purposes. In addition, if I have joint or back pain, I can choose an appropriate class.
